VOIP SIP T1 Line
VOIP SIP T1 (session initiation
protocol) is the state-of-the-art progression of voice
technology. With VOIP SIP T1, modern IP PBXs can now
connect directly to the public switched telephone
network (PSTN), without the added cost of a PRI card and
the inefficiencies of protocol conversions. VOIP SIP T1
can be obtained as voice only, or included as a
component of a dynamic integrated T1 package. Two
relatively new features which are often available with
SIP are virtual DIDs (direct inward dial numbers),
including international DIDs, and voice packet
compression.
Compression enables SIP T1s to
include up to twice as many voice lines without loss of
call quality. Virtual DIDs enable companies to appear to
have a local presence in other locations of the
US
, by
providing local phone numbers for these locations.
Several SIP packages can include international virtual
DIDs as well. With an international DID, a company in
the
US
can have a
phone number that is local to another location of the
world. When that number is called from that location, it
rings to the company?s
US location
like it is a local call. With international virtual
DIDs, companies located in the US can appear
to a have local presences in many other countries of the
world.
VOIP SIP T1 Trunking service
delivers full-featured business-class phone service and
lightning fast 1.5 Mbps Internet T1 service for less
using your existing IP-PBX system. This VOIP SIP T1
service combines both voice and Internet, so you pay for
only one circuit, saving your business money. Since you
use the IP technology you've already invested in, there
are no upfront costs, and no new equipment or phones to
buy so you can start saving with VOIP SIP T1
today.
Another advantage of SIP T1 is that
is can be available to any location that it is available
over a private bandwidth circuit, or a pubic (internet)
circuit. The major advantage SIP over the private
circuit of a SIP provider is that the provider can and
will ensure priority of voice packets as they travel
across their network, until those packets reach the
PSTN. This results in perfect voice quality. The major
advantage of SIP over the internet is that locations
that traditionally could not obtain voice T1 by
providers other than their local telephone company, will
now have extremely cost effective alternatives, if they
are willing to accept that voice quality may not be
equal to voice traffic carried over a private network.
SIP is available over either T1 or DS3.
Unlike consumer-grade VoIP, VOIP
SIP T1 service never rides the public Internet so your
phone calls are always crystal clear and the
reliability, security, and overall performance are
second to none. In addition, with VOIP SIP T1 we can
make it easy to switch your service with little start-up
costs or downtime.
